Refund Policy

At Classicshelf.in, we want you to have a smooth and satisfying shopping experience. If for any reason you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, our Refund & Return Policy outlines the process and conditions under which refunds, replacements, or returns are accepted.


1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns under the following conditions:

  • You received a damaged, defective, or incorrect book/product.

  • The return request is placed within 7 days of delivery.

  • The product is in its original condition, unused, and with all original packaging intact.

Note: We do not accept returns for digital products (eBooks, audiobooks, etc.) or gift cards.


2. Non-Returnable Items

  • eBooks, audiobooks, and other digital content.

  • Books purchased under clearance/discounted sales (unless damaged or defective).

  • Personalized or special-order items.


3. Return Process

  1. Contact our customer support team at contact@classicshelf.in within 7 days of receiving the order.

  2. Provide your order number, details of the issue, and photographs (if the product is damaged/defective).

  3. Once your request is approved, we will arrange for a return pickup or provide instructions to ship the book back.


4. Refund Process

  • Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the refund status.

  • If approved, the refund will be processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method (Credit/Debit Card, UPI, Wallet, Net Banking).

  • In case of Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be issued via bank transfer/UPI.


5. Replacement Policy

  • If you receive a damaged or wrong book, you may request a replacement instead of a refund.

  • Replacements are subject to stock availability. If the book is out of stock, a refund will be issued.


6. Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placing the order (or before shipment).

  • Once the order is shipped, cancellation requests will not be accepted.


7. Shipping Costs

  • If the error is on our side (wrong/damaged/defective item), we will bear the return shipping charges.

  • If the return is initiated for any other reason (e.g., change of mind), the customer will bear the return shipping cost.
