About the Author 

Dr. Smriti Singh holds a Master’s degree in Human Development. She earned her PhD in Human Development and Family Studies from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), Lucknow, where her doctoral research contributed to advancing the understanding of Emotion Regulation, Well-being, and Human Development, with particular emphasis on vulnerable and community-based populations. She has also published several research papers in reputed journals. She has strong field experience, including supervising Anganwadi Centers under ICDS and implementing community health, nutrition, and early childhood programs.

Dr. Shalini Agarwal is a distinguished academician with over 18 years of experience in Human Development and Family Studies. She currently serves as the Head of the Department of Human Development and Family Studies, School of Home Science, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University. Her academic and research expertise spans autism education, workplace ergonomics, youth development, ageing, and disability studies. Prof. Agarwal has authored books, published over 100 research papers, and mentored numerous M.Sc. and Ph.D. scholars.
