About The Book
“Aks” is not merely a poetry collection, it is a spiritual document of those emotions, experiences, and questions that repeatedly appear throughout the journey of life. The poems compiled in this collection carve diverse shades of love, the love that never found completion, the love that remained only as longing, the love that turned into separation, and the love that dissolved into silence.
These poems hold love, but not just union, they hold detachment as well. There is spirituality, but not as philosophy alone, it emerges from the bruises of life. This collection is a reflection of those moments when the heart questioned:
“Is love meant to be understood, or only to be experienced?”
and in response, found only emptiness.
In the poet’s view, these poems are not written for any one person, yet every reader may find their own reflection within them. This collection is for all those who do not merely want to do love, but want to live it, for those who have wandered, paused, flowed along the paths of life, and still have the courage to listen to the voice within.
About The Author
Wandering is my way. Some call it directionless; I call it freedom. Paths, with their shifting colors and silent invitations, have always pulled me toward them. Books were my companions for years, whispering stories of the world into my ears. But now, the silence between the words has begun to echo a little more loudly. Music is my constant companion. Whether I’m working or traveling long distances, melodies stay with me. The depth of Hindustani classical and the soulful essence of Sufi music touch me deeply. Sometimes Beethoven and Mozart arrive without knocking, like old friends who know the door will always be open. Music, I believe, never leaves you alone. I enjoy capturing moments in the play of light and shadow, through the eye of a camera. And when the heart insists, I flow into words as well. For the past two decades, my work has been in school education and teacher development. Along this journey, I’ve also spent time in social movements and community initiatives.
