About the Book
What happens when the person you love the most… was never really yours?
This is the haunting question at the heart of And She Was Never Mine — a breathtaking emotional journey of first love, heartbreak, destiny, and the longing that refuses to fade.
Shivendra never planned to fall in love.
But then came AVNI — the girl who turned his quiet world into chaos, color, and confusion. From shy school-bus glances to unexpected reunions years later, their story grows like a slow-burning fire: soft at first, then impossible to extinguish.
But AVNI carries scars.
Scars from a love that broke her, a past she cannot outrun, and fears she never speaks out loud. She pulls Shivendra close only to push him away again, trapped between what she feels and what she’s afraid to feel.
Their moments are electric —
a temple encounter dripping with tension,
a café argument where truths explode,
a train ride where silence hurts more than words,
late-night calls filled with vulnerability, anger, and something dangerously close to love.
This is not a perfect love story.
It’s a real one.
Messy. Emotional. Raw.
A story of two people who keep finding each other at the wrong time, in the wrong way, yet somehow keep holding on.
And She Was Never Mine is for every reader who has ever:
Loved someone silently
Waited for a message that never came
Held on to memories that refused to fade
Wondered “What if?” long after the story ended
This book will break your heart, heal it, and make it beat a little faster again.
Because sometimes the most unforgettable love story…
is the one that never truly happened
About the Author
Shivendra Dwivedi is a young Indian writer currently studying dentistry. Writing started as something he did in his free time, but over the years it has become a space where he expresses the thoughts and emotions he rarely says out loud.
His debut book, And She Was Never Mine, grew out of personal observations about love, distance, and the kind of heartbreak people carry quietly. Instead of dramatic storytelling, Shivendra focuses on small, real moments—the things people feel but often avoid admitting. His style is straightforward and sincere, shaped more by lived experiences than technique.
While balancing clinics, lectures, and practical work, he continues to write whenever life gives him a pause. His aim is simple: to create stories that feel truthful, relatable, and close to the way people actually think and feel.
