About the Book

In today's world, many people are afraid of both love and rebellion. Perhaps this is because both love and rebellion possess the power to break the status quo. Both are free from constraints, and therefore, both are one. This, my first book, attempts to portray this sentiment. Sometimes it speaks of love, sometimes of revolution, and sometimes of both together. All the poems are written in such a way that they can be read from any perspective. This is the special quality between love and rebellion – it's often unclear which one is being discussed.
Love is nothing but acceptance, complete acceptance of everything that is uncontrollable. Without any constraints of desire, without any needs, when one loves the freedom of a soul, that is love. Desire and love are two different scales; desire binds, and love liberates. In our society, whenever someone loves openly, they are essentially rebelling, because in an era where hatred is deep and commonplace, what greater rebellion is there than love?
Every word of this book of poems is perhaps a conversation with myself. The way I see the world, understand it, and explain myself to myself, perhaps that is the story I bear witness to here. Some from my friends, some from my beloved relatives, some from the embrace of a lover, and some from the anger of revolution, these poems are made up of everything that defines my personality.
In this fast-paced world, it is very important to know oneself. Especially in an era where love and comfort are considered foolishness, and hatred and despair are considered reality. I am certain that whoever reads this book will also have a little conversation with themselves and cherish a few moments of self-love.
Thank you for choosing this book. Read it with an open heart, and this book will choose you too.

About the Author

Atharva Arya is not just a young poet, but also a student of philosophy and politics. His writings are the result of deep contemplation on existence, where the delicate connections between love and sorrow, time and memory, silence and creation emerge.
He does not consider poetry merely a statement of reality, but rather an act of reflection—a silent yet powerful rebellion against forgetfulness and indifference. Through his verses, Atharva attempts to listen to the silences of this world, seeks meaning in mortality, and strives to gather the scattered fragments of human experience.
His poetry contains a profound understanding of struggle, both personal and collective, along with a hope for change. A silent resistance is hidden in the gentleness of his words; he believes that gentleness too can become a rebellion.
Reading Atharva is like listening to a conversation between thought and feeling, where poetry itself becomes philosophy, and life, a slowly unfolding mystery of reality.
