About the Book

This book is an attempt to symbolically analyze the struggling mindset that breaks away from established traditions and norms. It tells the story of a person from Bijbaniya village who, through his various roles and life struggles, tries to awaken, inspire, and send a message to the coming generations. The plot is based on true events. It is the tale of that distinct personality in the crowd who constantly wrestles with his thoughts. Instead of adopting an anonymous existence, he steps beyond the boundaries of his village and defines himself on a national and even global stage.

About the Author

Author Manoj Kumar Rao’s first book, “Yashoda: Ek Swyam Prabha Stri Ki wastweek Kahani”, received 14 awards from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. He was honored with the “Author of the Year” award by Miss India Shivani Jadhav at Navi Mumbai. Additionally, in Goa he was recognized with the “Best Author” and “GIfFA” awards. At the Indraprastha Literature Conference in New Delhi, in the presence of the then Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, he was presented with two awards for his book Yashoda. He also received a symbolic token from Gandhi Smriti.new delhi.

A resident of Bettiah town and Bijbaniya village of chanpatia block in the west Champaran district of Bihar, Manoj Kumar Rao earned his Bachelor’s degree in History from Ramjas College, University of Delhi. He began his journalism career with the Hindustan Times in New Delhi, and later worked as a senior journalist for Dainik Jagran, Prabhat Khabar, Chauthi Dunia, and Dainik Bhaskar in various districts of Bihar. Over his 25‑year of journalism career, he has been honored by numerous organizations.

His first book, Yashoda, has earned a five‑star rating on Flipkart and Amazon in both Hindi and English languages and is listed in the “Best Deal” category. His third book, 5 June 1974… Fire, has been published in India and 12 other countries. Several newspapers have published reviews of his books, and his works have also appeared on editorial pages.
