About The Book
Some people leave your life.
Some memories do.
And some stories refuse to end.
Rachel Bloom has everything she could ask for—a new beginning, a career she's worked hard for, people she loves, and a life that finally feels like hers. The past is nothing more than a collection of blurry memories she has no reason to revisit.
Until she meets Robin.
To Rachel, he's a stranger.
To Robin, she's the person he once loved, lost, and mourned.
He knows things about her that he shouldn't. He remembers moments she doesn't. And the more Rachel tries to understand the strange familiarity between them, the more she begins to question the life she's always believed was true.
Because memories can disappear.
People can lie.
And the past can be rewritten.
But there are some things the heart remembers even when the mind doesn't.
As old friendships resurface, forgotten moments begin to take shape, and secrets buried for years slowly find their way back into the light, Rachel is forced to confront a question she never thought she'd have to ask:
What if the life you remember isn't the life you actually lived?
Blast from the Past is a story about love that survives time, memories that refuse to stay buried, and the terrifying beauty of finding your way back to someone you were never supposed to find again.
And sometimes, the truth isn't waiting to be remembered. It's waiting to be discovered.
About The Author
Mansi Panwar is a writer, a hopeless romantic, and someone who believes that the best stories are often hidden in the most ordinary moments. She has always been fascinated by the little things that make people who they are—the conversations that stay in your head for years, the songs that suddenly remind you of someone, the places that hold old memories, and the people we swear we have moved on from but somehow still find our way back to.
She loves stories that make you laugh on one page, ache on the next, and leave you staring at the ceiling afterwards thinking, “What if?” Her writing explores love, friendship, nostalgia, complicated relationships, and the beautiful messiness of being human.
Blast from the Past is her take on the kind of memories that never really disappear. Because sometimes, the past doesn't knock before walking back into your life—it simply shows up and changes everything.
When she isn't writing, Mansi can probably be found with a cup of coffee, headphones on, getting emotionally attached to fictional characters, overthinking conversations that happened years ago, or randomly coming up with story ideas at the most inconvenient times.
She believes that every person has a story worth telling, and sometimes, the stories we try hardest to forget are the ones that deserve to be written down.
This is only the beginning.
