About The Book

ducational Psychology — A Simple Textbook for B.Ed. Students is written for one purpose: to make a difficult subject easy. If you have ever opened a psychology book and felt lost in heavy language and endless definitions, this book is for you.

Following the prescribed B.Ed. syllabus in eight clear units — and in its exact order — the book takes you step by step through every topic you need: the nature and scope of Educational Psychology; growth and development of the learner; learning and motivation; intelligence, creativity and individual differences; personality and adjustment; mental health and guidance; inclusive education and children with special needs; and the psychology of the teaching-learning process.

What makes this book different is its plain, friendly English. Every important term is explained in simple words the first time it appears. Theories of Pavlov, Skinner, Thorndike, Spearman, Gardner, Freud and others are presented clearly and supported with easy diagrams. Real classroom examples — with Indian student names and everyday school situations — show you exactly how each idea works in practice, the way you will see it when you become a teacher yourself.

Each unit ends with a crisp summary and a set of important questions for examination practice. Special "Example" and "Key Point" boxes highlight what matters most, making revision quick and stress-free.

Whether you are preparing for your B.Ed. examination or beginning your teaching career, this book will be both a reliable guide and a trusted friend — helping you understand not just the subject, but your students.
