About the Book
Global Economics 5.0: Trends, Technology, and Economic Transitions is a timely and forward-looking academic work that responds to one of the most pressing questions of the contemporary world: How are global economies navigating multiple, simultaneous transitions in an era of uncertainty, technological disruption, and ecological urgency? Authored by Dr. Manjula Mallya M, Dr. N. Subbu Krishna Sastry, and Dr. Nisha Yuvaraj, the book offers a comprehensive, interdisciplinary, and policy-relevant exploration of the evolving global economic landscape. The concept of Economics 5.0 forms the intellectual backbone of the book. Moving beyond traditional growth-centric and efficiency-driven economic models, the authors present Economics 5.0 as a framework that integrates technological intelligence with human wellbeing, sustainability, inclusivity, and resilience.
