About The Book
Khwab is a collection of poems born from the places within the heart that words rarely reach.
It is a journey through love and longing, closeness and distance, hope and heartbreak, memory and loneliness—the emotions that remain long after a moment has passed and a person has gone.
These poems do not tell one story.
They carry many.
A conversation that ended too soon.
A love that remained incomplete.
A person who became a memory.
A waiting that had no promise of an ending.
A silence that became heavier than words.
A night that refused to pass.
And a dream that was beautiful precisely because it could never be fully lived.
Khwab moves through the many shades of the human heart—sometimes tender, sometimes restless, sometimes broken, and sometimes quietly hopeful.
There are memories that return without knocking.
There are names we stop speaking but never truly stop remembering.
There are people who leave our lives, yet somehow remain present in the smallest things—the scent of a familiar street, the silence of a room, an old song, a passing breeze, or a night spent looking at the sky.
And there are dreams…
Dreams that begin with a person, become a feeling, and eventually become a part of who we are.
This book is for those who have loved deeply, waited silently, lost without making a noise, remembered someone long after they were gone, or carried a dream that never found its way into reality.
Perhaps, somewhere between these pages, the reader will not merely find Rajdeep’s emotions.
Perhaps they will find their own.
A forgotten conversation.
An old love.
A familiar loneliness.
A name they still cannot erase.
Or a dream they once believed would come true.
Because poetry is not always about what the poet feels.
Sometimes, it is about what the reader suddenly remembers.
And perhaps that is what Khwab truly is—
a place where the unspoken finds a voice, where memories find a home,
and where unfinished dreams are allowed to live.
Some dreams are never meant to be lived.
Some are meant to become poetry.
Khwab is, ultimately, a quiet journey from the heart to the page—
from feeling, to memory, from memory, to words, and from words, to you.
About The Author
Rajdeep Singh is a poet and writer from Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh, with roots deeply connected to the soil of Punjab. Between these two lands, he carries a story of belonging—one that began in one place, grew in another, and found its quietest expression in words.
For Rajdeep, poetry was never a destination. It was something that happened along the way.
Some feelings arrived as memories.
Some stayed as silences.
Some became questions.
And some turned into dreams that refused to disappear.
Khwab, his first book, is born from that inner world—a world of love, longing, separation, tenderness, loneliness, and the countless emotions we often feel deeply but struggle to put into words.
Rajdeep does not write to explain life. He writes to preserve the moments that life leaves behind.
A face remembered long after the meeting.
A name that still lingers in an empty room.
A road that carries the memory of someone who no longer walks beside us.
A silence that says what words could not.
And a dream that, even after breaking, continues to live somewhere within the heart.
His writing is simple, intimate, and deeply personal.
What he could not say, he wrote.
What he could not forget, he remembered in verse.
What he could not have, he turned into a dream.
And what remained unfinished, he gave a place on the page.
Perhaps that is where Rajdeep finds his poetry—not in trying to become a poet, but in allowing the heart to speak when everything else falls silent.
