About The Book
Ayurveda recognizes women as the cornerstone of family and society, emphasizing the importance of preserving reproductive and hormonal health throughout different stages of life. In recent decades, changing lifestyles, dietary habits, environmental stressors, and metabolic disturbances have contributed significantly to the increasing prevalence of gynaecological disorders. While modern medicine has achieved remarkable advancements in diagnosis and emergency care, many chronic gynecological conditions continue to pose therapeutic challenges. Ayurveda offers a comprehensive approach through its individualized treatment principles, among which Panchakarma occupies a place of paramount importance. The inspiration for this book arose from the need for a dedicated and comprehensive resource that systematically presents the role of Panchakarma in the prevention and management of gynecological disorders. Although numerous classical references and research publications are available, information remains scattered across texts and journals. This book aims to bridge that gap by bringing together classical principles, practical clinical applications, scientific rationale, and evidence-based perspectives within a single volume.
