About The Author

I, Devendra Kumar, am serving as an Assistant Professor at Swami Devanand Post Graduate College, Math Lar, Deoria, Uttar Pradesh. With over two decades of experience in Physical Education, I have been consistently engaged in teaching, research, and the promotion of sports education.
I qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) in Physical Education in 2002. My academic journey includes an M.Phil. from Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (L.N.I.P.E.), Gwalior, an M.P.Ed. from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore, and a Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.E.) from Hanuman Vyayam Prasarak Mandal (HVPM), Amravati.
I have authored three books prior to this publication. This is my fourth book and my second contribution in the field of Sports Management. While my earlier works were published in Hindi medium (Khel prabandhan, Manisha publication), this book has been written in English to cater to a wider academic and professional audience.
I have also published more than ten research papers in reputed international journals and have actively participated in numerous national and international conferences and seminars. These academic engagements have enriched my understanding of emerging trends in sports and education.
Through this book, I aim to provide practical knowledge and academic clarity to students and professionals, and to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of sports management education.
